Description:
In Kemet, participants assume the role of leaders of Egyptian tribes, commanding troops and harnessing the mystical energies of ancient Egyptian gods to achieve victory. They engage in epic battles and strategic conquests to earn points, typically aiming for 8 or 10 victory points to win. Points are earned through various means such as successful attacks, temple control, completed pyramids, offerings to the gods, and utilization of magical abilities.
The game unfolds in two phases: Day and Night. During the Day phase, players select actions from a range of nine options on their player mat, executing them immediately. After each player has taken five actions, Night descends. During Night, players gather Prayer Points from their temples, draw Divine Intervention cards, and establish the turn order for the upcoming day.
