Description:
Ra is an auction and set-collection game set in Ancient Egypt. Players take turns using their bidding tiles, called suns, to buy lots of tiles. Once a player runs out of suns, they stop bidding while the others continue until they also run out. This can create a situation where one player bids alone towards the end of the round. The tension rises because the round might end before everyone has had a chance to acquire their three lots for the epoch. Tiles either give immediate points, prevent penalties for lacking certain types at the end of the round, or provide points after the final round. The game spans three rounds, called epochs, and is easy to learn.
